On a peaceful autumn evening in Presque Isle, Maine, on September 21 2025, I photographed Reflection of Light with the Canon EOS R50 as the sun slowly descended toward the horizon. The final light of day settled across the quiet river, where the fading sky unfolded upon the water with such remarkable clarity that the boundary between earth and reflection seemed to disappear. Trees stood motionless along the shoreline while their mirrored forms stretched endlessly beneath them, creating the illusion of two worlds meeting in perfect harmony.
