On a peaceful spring evening in Mapleton, Maine, on June 7, 2026, I photographed Soul Mirrored with the Canon EOS R50 as the final light of day settled gently across the water. The shoreline was alive with the quiet renewal of spring, its fresh green foliage extending beneath a softly illuminated sky. Across the still surface, the landscape appeared again as a perfect mirror, creating the Vista of two worlds meeting in tranquil harmony.
The water held everything: the trees, the sky, the fading light of twilight, and the quiet movement of life upon its surface. What began as a simple spring landscape became something far more intimate: a fleeting moment where reflection transformed the familiar into something almost dreamlike.
